Hi divers,

we are trying again for 9 Mile Reef trip on Saturday 10th of September and possibly exploring other mysterious dive sites suitable for experienced dive level. 9 Mile Reef sits off the Tweed coast and is a wonderful drift dive with opportunities to see Grey Nurse sharks and turtles.

This dive site reaches a maximum depth of approximately 30 m and divers must meet the Unidive 'advanced' definition in order to dive this site. It's also preferable if divers are Nitrox certified. Divers must be comfortable diving in current, performing a drift dive, as well as maintaining a safety stop in current. There are 12 places available.

Cost is $105 for two dives (incl Air tanks). Gear hire is your own responsibility. We are currently checking whether Nitrox could be supplied by the charter company.

There is the possibility of BBQ facilities in case someone would like to take over the feeding of us after (of course for reimbursement).

Selected divers will need to meet at the shed on Thursday evening and pay a $50 deposit, with remaining money to be paid on Sunday.

Carpooling will be arranged so please let us know if you have a car and are happy to drive.
