Hi divers,

The D3 boat has been chartered for a 9 Mile Reef trip on Sunday the 28th of August. 9 Mile Reef sits off the Tweed coast and is a wonderful drift dive with opportunities to see Grey Nurse sharks and turtles. 

This dive site reaches a maximum depth of approximately 30 m and divers must meet the Unidive 'advanced' definition in order to dive this site. It's also preferable if divers are Nitrox certified. Divers must be comfortable diving in curren, performing a drift dive, as well as maintaining a safety stop in current. There are 8 places available.

Cost is $140 for two dives including Nitrox (32%) or $100 for air. Gear hire is your own responsibility.

Selected divers will need to meet at the shed on Thursday evening and pay a $50 deposit, with remaining money to be paid on Sunday.

Carpooling will be arranged so that we can all meet at the Fingal boat ramp at 6:30 on Sunday.
