Who’s it for?
- You want to go beyond basic CPR and learn how to respond to and manage cardiac and breathing-related emergencies using oxygen and other advanced resuscitation procedures. This is especially important for scuba divers, as oxygen therapy is a vital step in all scuba rescue scenarios.
- You need to refresh your skills or renew your qualifications
- You want to know how to help in a scuba-related emergency and understand why the club always has an oxygen kit on hand.
- You already have your first aid qualifications and want to help out the club as a boat handler or surface watch.
Reimbursement to Unidive Volunteers:
Members who have conducted boat handling, surface watch or other training activities that require these accreditations at least twice in the six months before or after the course will be reimbursed for their training. If this is you or you hope to volunteer with the club more, please email training@unidive.org to receive a discount code or information on how to volunteer and be reimbursed in the future.
Availability and Future Courses:
If the event is full and you wish to register, please contact the committee (training@unidive.org). We can work to expand maximum capacity or organise another training night.
The club will be running another course in June if your current qualifications are still up to date until then. Details on this course will be announced in the coming weeks.
