FLINDERS REEF TRIP  - Boat charter arranged- 16th of April (notice the change of dates from 17th to 16th)

Flinders-Reef is a small isolated reef north-west of Moreton Island. It has the highest number of coral species of any sub tropical reef system along Australia's east coast. With thousands of species of tropical fish, an array of hard and soft corals, eagle rays, leopard sharks in summer, grey nurse sharks and humpback whales in winter, and the famous Turtle Cleaning Station in only 5m of water it is one of Queensland's most popular open water level dive sites.

We have 14 spots in total on the boat. We'll be doing at least 2 dives. Dive sites to be discussed, but we have some great options for all levels of experience

Gear is through Unidive (3 month rent option is the best deal), or your own. Don't worry about weights and tanks as it's a unidive trip.

Lunch is catered for, so let me know  your necessary preference when signing up (vegetarian, allergies).

Who is in for some great diving? This is your chance :)

We need to pay in advance for the boat charter, so the deposit is $86, which includes the boat, fuel for the boat, lunch, tank use and some great diving! Other costs will be 20 dollars for 2 tank refills and about 10 dollars for fuel (car). More info about payment will follow soon.

When signing up, let me know if you have a car and the number of seats.

We'll have a pre-meeting on Thursday the 14th, to get gear, and to discuss some other details.

Be at the shed this Thursday at 6pm.
