We are honoured to help you start your underwater journey.
The course layout is as follows:
- Before payment/ securing spot on this course: UQ swim test and complete medical form.
- ONLINE TRAINING (5-10 hours before course): start your independant online training at home through the world class PADI eLearning system.
- ORIENTATION (September 25th): review your online training, try on the scuba gear and learn to assemble your scuba kit.
- POOL DIVES (September 28th): full day in pool to master all scuba skills that you have learned about during your eLearning and will be later practiced in Ocean.
- OCEAN DIVES (October 5th + 6th): explore the reef, putting the skills you have learned into practice, over the course of 4 training dives. We will also go through gear care where you will learn how to take care of your diving gear and log your first 4 dives into your diving logbook.
- CERTIFICATION - once you have met all the requirements for the course, your instructor will certify you as a PADI Open Water Diver! You can now join us on our social dives and go diving anywhere in the world!
