Hello everyone!

Time to get back in the water!!!

We are re-planning our big WELCOME DIVE on the 16th of March and we want you to come along!

This will be a shore dive and is ideal for Open Water divers and above. 

To make this as smooth as possible, we need

- surface watch

- someone to tow the gear trailer

- advanced people who are happy to lend a helping hand to less experienced, 

- BBQ person 

Costs will be around the $40 (incl. tanks, weights and carpooling). Gear a hire is extra!

High tide is around lunch at ~12:30pm Qld time, so it should be a relatively relaxed day out :-)

For all who are keen, we will meet the Thursday night beforehand at 6:15pm at the shed for a pre-dive brief.

Each diver must:

• Be a current Unidive member, medically fit to dive, who passed the swimming test
• Have an open water certfication 
• Have dived in the past 6 months (or the Dive Supervisor has agreed to individual circumstances)
• Dive with an SMB/safety sausage, cutting device and whistle. Note: These items are NOT supplied. Safety sausage and shears can be purchased from Unidive.
• Bring their own mask, snorkel, and fins as Unidive does not hire them.
• Dive within their certification and capability.
• Follow instructions given by the trip organiser, the dive supervisors, and the COVID safety delegate.
• Help out throughout the whole day.
• Be able to attend a trip meeting on the Thursday beforehand at the shed.
