If you are looking to get away for the weekend and go diving with you favourite buddies, come to Straddie with us! And in particular, if you have just heard of if, but never actually been diving off Straddie and always wanted to do so, come and join us!

With the semester just ending, we are inviting to join us for a 'End of Semester'-weekend of diving off Straddie. Even if you have never been there, you have probably heard, that it is supposed to be great. Given the time of year, we might still be lucky to dive with Grey Nurse Sharks at Flat Rock, and maybe we will already see Mantas and Leopard Sharks at Manta Bommie.

On Straddie we are going to stay at Ken's house, which offers us backpackers' dorm style accommodation. Hence, you will require to bring your own sheets, sleeping bag, towel etc.
While we are going diving in the mornings of Saturday and Sunday, in particular Saturday's afternoon is free to hang out at the beach, for a walk to Point Lookout to have some Gelato or for whatever you can imagine doing on an island.

Organising dive gear remains your own responsibility, with Unidive gear being available for the weekend. Ken will provide tanks and weights.

We are expecting the total cost of the weekend to be somewhere between AUD$ 250 and AUD$ 300, which includes two double dives on Saturday and Sunday, the ferry to get there as well as food on Saturday and Sunday. In order to cover the costs to book the ferry, we will require non-refundable deposit of AUD$ 100 to secure your spot.

As always, priority will be given to anyone who volunteers to the help out with one of the tasks mentioned in the registration, so please indicate if you are willing to do so.
