Unidive safety committee

Safety is taken seriously ..

One of the things that impressed me most when I became involved with Unidive was that safety was taken seriously. The Unidive Safety committee exists to make sure the club continues it’s activities in a safe manner. We oversee the boat handler approval process and site approvals, and review incidents or reports of problems to see if there can be ways of avoiding problems in the way we operate.

The safety committee for this year (2010) consists of:

If you ever have any concerns about safety within the club, please feel free to approach any member of the committee to discuss the issue. You may also e-mail unidive-safety@lists.uq.edu.au if that is more convenient.
